This was supposed to get released on Notch's Birthday as a contribution, but I got sidetracked.


Credits :

Necro : Creating and Building.

Notch : For making Minecraft.

This is the early Uninhabited, Isolated "Villages".

These places were supposed to be home to "Pigmen" which were replaced to

the Villagers. As I saw, these were a important piece of Minecraft history as it was a mark

of progression in the structure biz.



So I took it upon myself to re-create the faithfully with a few variants with custom loot in 2* of them.

I have always liked these houses as the design is simplistic and nice to look at, in my opinion, that is.

I'm up for suggestions here, remember though, the look of the structures in INTENDED to be simplistic.

This is really cool! I actually had the same idea almost at the same time, but didn't end up executing it. 😄 I kind of like the early structures that were empty and miserable. Wish Mojang would add more of those.

I like the abandoned aspect too, that's what early Minecraft a little unnerving is that the world is empty, just you, the fog and what few animals there are, and imagine if these showed up back then? That'd double down on the eerie factor!

From what I remember, 2009-2011 is when Minecraft was formally introduced, so it's not ancient but not young either!
