This datapack brings the classic combat mechanics into current versions by:
  • Removing attack cooldown
  • Reducing axe damage
The player can now click as fast as they would like to without penalty.

Axes deal one less damage than a sword of the same material.

Important Information:
  • You can re-enable vanilla axe damage values by editing "\data\shm_oc\functions\tick.mcfunction" and placing a "#" symbol at the beginning of the final line.
  • You can uninstall the datapack by running the following command in-game: /function shm_oc:uninstalland then deleting the datapack file from the worldsave.

Hey, i love the data pack! me and my friends where looking forward to use it, but there seems to be a small problem, it was working fine and all but it wouldn't work for my friend, who is the owner, and then i found out, trying to punch and then using a weapon brings the cooldown back, mind you we got this working in a realm so it could be messing with it, but if you could explain and maybe help us, that'd be nice
