Hi everyone!

I'm probably not alone when I say it's quite annoying when you travel long distances by elytra or boat and your dog doesn't teleport, sometimes losing them in the middle of nowhere. Not anymore. With this data pack, pets will teleport to you no matter how far away you are from them.

Features of this data pack:
  • Tamed dogs, cats and parrots will now teleport to you no matter where you are.
  • Pets don't teleport to you if they are sitting or leashed.
Note:
I recommend only using this on singleplayer worlds or small servers, as this pack relies on the /forceload command, which might cause lag.

btw u formatted the datapack wrong. The datapack folder is in the zip file. You have to zip the data and pack.mcmeta.

Does it let pets follow you into the nether and end then back again?

They will only follow you if they go through the portal.
