A Beacon in your pocket!
Minecraft: Java Edition - Data Pack

Ever get tired of the grind to build the pyramid for your beacon? or more beacons to cover a larger area?
Craft a beacon that can sit in your pocket and give you the effects of a ground based beacon!

Adds a new progression loop to the game! Power up your character even more!

Info for: V0.2.x - Beta:
Craft 5 Leather and a Beacon together to make a 'Pocket Beacon'.
Surround the lower half of the Beacon with Leather.

The Pocket Beacon can be anywhere in your inventory.
You can even use it in the nether!
(You must charge the pocket beacon with beacons or iron/gold/diamond/emerald/netherite blocks in your offhand, in order to use the effects. or multiple effects.)

Right-Click the 'Pocket Beacon' to cycle effects.
Shift + Right-Click - to activate selected effect at 'level 1'.
Face Up + Shift + Right-Click - to activate selected effect at 'level 2'.
Face Down + Shift + Right-Click - with a beacon/iron/diamond blocks (any pyramid blocks) in offhand - charge pocket beacon for access to more/multiple effects and level 2 effects.
OffHand + Shift + Right-Click - to toggle beacon on / off. (try this if the selected effect won't activate..)

/trigger pocketbeacon - to toggle beacon on / off. (and see current charge levels)

Note: Been having a lot of fun in my survival world with this, not only is it useful, it is fun to progress thru the beacon levels.
