If you (like me) think that the new Trial Chambers has waaay too much copper in them, this datapack might just be perfect for you! It changes most of the OP copper blocks into regular materials, and also makes the Trial Chambers fit in better with the block theme of similar structures in Minecraft (dungeons and strongholds). Many of the lesser copper features are still preserved.
This datapack includes:
- Oxidized copper floors are replaced by a mixture of cobblestone and mossy cobblestone
- The copper blocks lining the walls are replaced by polished granite
- Other minor adjustments to make the new design look nicer...
Please note that only trial chambers generated after installing this datapack will be affected, not old ones.
Installation:
- Download the .zip file and place it inside the datapacks folder in your world save.

Have something to say?
Editing bulk NBT structure files on this scale has been a real pain for me - what did you use to edit them if you don't mind me asking?
It took a decent amount of time, yes.
I used structure blocks to load/save all structures in-game one after one, and repeating command blocks to /fill ... replace all copper blocks with new blocks automatically. Also a command block to fill the area with structure void after, to reset. The mixture of mossy cobble and regular cobble was made by a worldedit replace command.
