Required Resource Pack
0
If you are tired of dying with 30+ levels and only getting 7 levels back, then this data pack is for you.
This data pack adds 5 tiers (1, 5, 10, 20, 30) of the new Sculk Bottle item to the game witch allow you to store your xp. Each tier is correlated to the amount of xp the bottle can hold in levels.
To use these new bottles simply right click with an empty sculk bottle while it is in your hand and it will store your xp based on its tier. This also works the other way around as well, when right clicking with a full bottle it will release the xp stored in it. These bottles do work with mending, so if you hold your tools in your offhand it should apply to your tools and armor
NOTE: Even though the bottle might say it can hold 30 levels this is actually 30 levels in xp points (1395 points). This means that if you are at 5 levels and use a 30 level bottle you will not be at level 35, but about level 30 and a half. This is because it progressively gets harder to move up levels as you get more and more xp. for more information I recommend looking at this website https://www.digminecraft.com/getting_started/experience.php to see the conversions of the points to levels conversion in Minecraft
In addition I highly recommend you to download the resource pack that goes along with this data pack or else things will look weird
In the crafting recipe the sculk you put in the bottle the more xp it can hold.
Shapeless crafting recipes:
1 sculk + 1 bottle = Sculk Bottle (1 level)
2 sculk + 1 bottle = Sculk Bottle (5 levels)
4 sculk + 1 bottle = Sculk Bottle (10 levels)
6 sculk + 1 bottle = Sculk Bottle (20 levels)
8 sculk + 1 bottle = Sculk Bottle (30 levels)
