Today it's infiltration! The datapack of the day allows you to program soldier patrols and moving platform paths in Minecraft.
Maker mode:
Add you the tag sentinel.maker to use trigger.
/trigger balise.set set X = place a balise to rotate the sentinel entity to X° to the right
/trigger balise.set set 90 = place a balise to rotate the sentinel entity to 90° to the right
/trigger balise.set set -90 = place a balise to rotate the sentinel entity to 90° to the left
/trigger balise.kill = kill the nearest balise
/trigger balise.kill set 42 = kill all the balises in 50 blocks radius
Sentinel Summon Exemple:
To make your sentinel work, it must have the following nbt: NoAI:1b,Tags:["sentinel.entity"]
To summon moving platform:

You can also put the tag sentinel.NoGravity to your sentinel to remove the gravity from it.
Put the sentinel.blindness tag to your sentinel to disable player detection.
You can change function "sentinel:spotted" to change what the sentry should do when he sees a player.

- Time for the sentinel to forget you
- Time to spend in front of the sentinel to be spotted

Playing around with a stealth map idea for the holiday season, something with saving Christmas and Santa, of course.
Was wondering if it would be okay with you if I use your data pack as the base for the patrol/guard mechanic.

when i type Sentinel Summon Command i get a skeleton moving forward only, how do i make it go back and forth Or move in a square?
Note: i did the /trigger basile.set set 180 and i tried the 90 one too

I just test and it work. So the problem aren't the datapack. Let's try to find what you did wrong ^^

Just change the /summon and make your own custom weapon.

Sorry I don't understand ^^' make balise with différent °
To do a square, make 4 balise of 90°.
To do a circle, make 1 balise of 360°
