Shadow Travel Minecraft Data Pack

Travel through the world with the help of the shadows! If a player is in absolute darkness for too long, a portal to another world will open. In this shadow dimension, one block is equivalent to 16 blocks in the overworld, which makes it excellent for travelling long distances. A single portal is not very useful, but the more portals that are opened from the overworld, the larger and more complex, and therefore more useful, the network becomes.

But be careful, if even one ray of light hits the portal in the overworld, it will be destroyed, and staying too long in the shadow dimension also has its consequences.

You should make a datapack that gives player insomnia effect while he standing for too long in darkness, just like in Amnesia TDD videogame

I would recommend trying the Manic datapack (or mod) by Visi, which already has this mechanic implemented quite well.

this modpack is really cool but has some weird gimmicks with multiple portals, such as a ton of platforms generating unnecessarily , portals with too high of a difference just make the platforms tall and inaccessible, no clue if mine isnt functioning properly, i can provide screenshots on discord where i have already requested friend,

Yeah, I already noticed that while testing. I'm trying to improve the generation it already, but it's quite complicated to work on this part of the datapack and I don't know if I have enough motivation to fix everything.
But thanks anyway.
