The wooden spear is a one-use, weakened trident that is crafted by making a vertical column of three wooden swords on a crafting table.
I wanted to add a non-melee early-game weapon to Minecraft, so I repurposed tridents to make a new breed of them that can only be used once. They are probably still overpowered, but much less so because they cannot be stacked.
Warning: This datapack does not affect the regularly obtained trident in any way.
