Introducing: BlockSeat!
Features:
- You can sit anywhere you want! How does this work?
- Simply crouch without holding anything in both your hands.
- A cushion will then spawn below you. Right click on it to sit down!
- If you don't want to sit currently though, simply hit the cushion or leave the area and it'll be gone!
- Works in Multiplayer!
Special thanks to all my Patrons for supporting my work:
Download for older versions:
Also: Mechanics may differ in older builds as I was still messing around with the best way to implement this back then.
The current instructions should still work with these older builds though.

Final words: I spent far too long editing this than I'd like to admit.

PPS:
The history of this project was long. I can't remember all the events that happened anymore myself,
but going through the posts to find the files for this one sure brought back some awesome memories.
Also, yes, there was a version for 1.14 and 1.13 as well, but I can no longer bring back those files.
Stupid me relied on Discord's systems which - back then I didn't know - deletes files after a fixed amount of time.

I'll also be improving the underlying systems across my entire series of datapacks as well, because I kinda have to do pretty much everything again anyway.
It does take quite a while to pull this off though, when I have meaningful info to share with everyone I'll do so on Discord. See you soon!
And I find it hard to build without holding anything to build with, ya know?
And if it blocks you you can just hit it to unblock it again.
Also, have you updated BlockSeat to the latest version?
Because all the problems you mentioned belonged to an older patch and has already been resolved over the years.
Also: I'd recommend not using Realms for your Multiplayer snenanigans - there's just a lot of good reasons why a third party Multiplayer host is better than Realms.
Some of them includes: Virtually no filesize limitations, more customizability, pricing is cheaper in most cases, much quicker customer support, datapacks won't break randomly due to issues specific to Realms left unsolved for years ...
You'll need an older build for that.
If you need a release that's compatible with Minecraft 1.20.1, check this post for a general guide that applies to all my releases!
Due to how Mojang designed these new updates (which was a recent change), I can no longer design a general version that's going to work across 1.20x in its entirety.
I technically can, but for some packs it'll double or triple its intended filesize, which for bigger projects like Decapitation would be a nightmare to download.
This was the next best option.
I'm currently working on making all projects compatible for 1.20.2 in version 20b1 (which is coming soon)
