Obtain Custom and Player Heads in Survival! Now in Portable Mode!
You can find the values for custom heads on this site.

📥How to Install

  • 1) Download the Datapack
  • 2) Chose the world you want to install the Data Pack in and navigate to its "datapacks" folder
  • 3) Copy the downloaded Data Pack file (Skull [Portable]) into this folder
  • 4) Join the world and run "/reload" command

📖Features

  • This Data Pack allows you to get custom heads in vanilla minecraft using only a Book&Quill.
    • Custom heads can be obtained using either values or player names.
  • Added crafting recipes for standard player heads so you can obtain them in survival.
- Obtaining a custom head: To obtain a custom head, head over minecraft heads, chose a custom head and copy its value, past it in a Book&Quill, hold the desired number of heads in your off-hand, the book in your main hand and swap them. (Default key to swap hands is "F")
- Obtaining a player head: To obtain a player head, sign a Book&Quill with the name of the player, then hold the desired number of heads in your off-hand, the book in your main hand and swap them. (Default key to swap hands is "F")

📤Uninstall the DataPack


To uninstall the Data Pack run the command "/function skull_portable:uninstall" .When the uninstallation process is completed a confirmation message will be sent in the chat.

  • Updated to Minecraft Version 1.20

🚀New Features

  • Added a Configuration menu to chose what to do with the book once obtained a custom or player head
  • The Configuration menu can be accessed upon reloading by clicking on the "[​Config]" button or by running this command -> "/function skull_portable:config"
  • The Configuration menu includes thefollowing settings:
    • [​Player head] Replace book after use: (default is True )
    • [​Custom Head] Erase book pages after use: (default is True )
