This datapack lets you start the game with a pet if you install it as part of creating the world. If you start it after having created the world, you will receive a pet once you reload. Pets are randomly chosen from 6 Minecraft mobs, and can have one of 32 different names.
Possible Pets:
- Dog
- Cat (any variant)
- Horse (comes with saddle)
- Allay (comes with crafting table)
- Axolotl (comes in a bucket)
- Donkey (comes with a saddle and chest)
Any pet you start out with a slight boost to armor and regenerates to prevent them from dying on the first night (horses, allays, and axolotls don't get a benefit if they already have one).
