The Nother is short for "Not the dimension that ends in ther" or "Just another dimension that was influenced by that one mod"

In order to make a portal that leads into this dimension, you must create a standard sized Nether Portal, but instead of using obsidian, you should use pink wool, and instead of using flint and steel, you should use a water bucket. The edges must be pink wool too. When you cross into the other side, you'll find yourself in the Nother, with another pink wool portal, which is thicker than the normal one (This is an intended feature) on top of a water pool, you can refill your water bucket in there.

Using the resource pack will give this data pack its intended look.

In this dimension, the world is composed of multiple layers of floating islands, where shadows are nowhere to be seen, and it's always daytime. Be careful with making beds, they're not gonna work in here, despite them being present in the villages that this world has. It is recommended to bring a water bucket so you can jump from one island to another, or climb the cliffs when you want to reach the higher layers.

There are also multiple biomes that are different from those present on the normal world. There are the Alphalands, where the trees and the grass resemble the early days of this game, there are also big purple birch forests with shulkers on them. There are also red jungles, blue forests, orange deserts and many more. You can find the overworld ores in here, and even ancient debris if you are lucky, you don't have to dig really down to find something, it will be higher. You can even find strongholds and go into the end.

This dimension is still in progress, there might be some unintended features like falling away from the Nother portal in the nother before the chunks load. There are also planned features, such as adding more biomes and structures.

Tested and works on Vanilla, Forge, and Fabric.
Modpacks can enhance the dimension! After testing this data pack on TNP Limitless 3, several structures from the modpack generated on the dimension along with modded ores and modded mobs (such as the Basalz from Thermal Foundation)



Unfortunately, after being tested, this data pack doesn't work on spigot and paper servers.
