Adding Shields to the game was a good idea, but Mojang messed up when they added an invisible cooldown whenever raising, which punishes players for attempting to parry attacks.

Whenever raising a Shield, you are granted Resistance 3.

- Changed the way this pack works. Rather than passive Resistance while holding a Shield in the Offhand, you must raise it to be granted temporary Resistance.
