Vampires by Evilonesw

This is a Datapack that adds vampires, powers, and new items


How to use
To turn into a vampire you will have to right click while holding an Altar Knife, whilst standing in the middle of an altar, during the night time.
To craft an Altar Knife place 1 iron ingot above 1 stick.
Altar shape and material layout is the second image shown. Ancient Vampire altar is the same, except the redstone block must be swapper with a beacon


/function evilonesw_vampires:uninstall will uninstall the datapack
/datapack enable "file/Evilonesw_vampires" to re-enable the datapack after /function evilonesw_vampires:uninstall has been used


Vampires
Once you are a vampire you have access to different powers and abilities. Undead mobs will not attack you if you are a vampire. As a vampire you are naturally weak to the sun, fire and holy weapons/items. You naturally see in the dark and are much faster and stronger than humans. Normal food is toxic to vampires, so your only option for food is to Bite other players or drink blood. Wearing a helmet will protect you from sun damage but you will still be weakened

Vampires
Bite - To use this ability punch certain mob types with an empty hand (or empty glass bottle) and will restore your hunger and health. Biting humans will restore more health than other types. Holding a glass bottle in your mainhand or offhand will fill it with blood for you to drink later. Basic vampire 40s cooldown, Master vampire 20s cooldown, Ancient vampire 10s cooldown

Invisibility - Sneaking while selecting Hotbar slot 0 will turn you invisible. Sneaking and Jumping will toggle on/off invisibility.

Vampire Gaze - Sneaking while selecting Hotbar slot 1 will turn freeze any mob that you look at in place. Basic and Master vampires can use for 8s before cooldown, Ancient vampire can use infinitely

Vampire Bats - Sneaking while selecting Hotbar slot 2 will summon vampire bats which will chase after and attack villagers and humans. 1min cooldown. Basic Vampire summons 1, Master summons 2, Ancient Summons 3

Blood Scent - Sneaking while selecting Hotbar slot 3 guide you towards mobs containing blood. Sneaking and Jumping will allow you to choos what you want scent you want to pick up. Options are: Closest blood source, Closest human, All blood sources in medium range, All humans in medium range

Blood Frenzy - Sneaking and jumping while selecting Hotbar slot 4 will toggle on/off. While in blood frenzy your speed and strength is further enhanced than normal and you will heal from injuries. This power uses the accumulated blood you have drunk to power, and the ability will be toggled off when you run out.

Mist Form - Sneaking and jumping while selecting Hotbar slot 5 turn you into a mist form which can go through walls and fly around. Looking down and sneaking will turn you back into normal form. This ability is only available to Master and Ancient Vampires.

Slow Descent - Sneaking while selecting Hotbar slot 8 will slow your fall. Sneaking and Jumping will toggle on/off this ability.


Vampire Types
Basic - Basic vampires are your normal type, to become on you just need to complete the altar ritual to convert.

Master - Master vampires are a slightly stronger than basic vampires, have access to more abilities, have shorter cooldown times. To become on you will need to kill over 1000 mobs/players as a Basic vampire.

Ancient - Ancient vampires are the strongest type. To become on you just need to complete the altar ritual as a master vampire, with a beacon in place of a redstone block. Ancient vampires are much stronger than master vampires, have shorter to non existent cooldown times on abilities, stronger versions of abilities, and can use Vampire Gaze infinitely. Although Ancient vampires are much weaker to sunlight and fire





Items
Altar Knife - Needed to activate altar to change into a vampire

Holy Water - Can be thrown at Vampires and undead mobs to damage them, can be thrown at humans to heal and nourish.

Bible - When held in the mainhand or offhand it will show you all nearby undead mobs and vampires, allowing you too see invisible vampires. It will also weaken the undead and vampires

Crucifix - When held in the mainhand or the offhand it will blind nearby vampires. Also used in craafting recipes


Crafting Recipes
Altar Knife - To craft an Altar Knife place 1 iron ingot above 1 stick.
Crucifix - To craft place 5 sticks in a + shaped symbol
Bible - To craft place a Crucifix and a Book anywhere
Holy Water - To craft place a Crucifix and a bottle of water anywhere
