    Hello!
Villages Revamped was inspired by the datapack Towns & Towers. I have created custom cherry, plains, taiga, desert, savanna and snowy villages.
My end goal is to revamp all minecraft structures and add a ton of custom ones as well, a "minecraft structure update" if you will. This datapack includes just the vanilla villages and a cherry grove village for now.

If you want a datapack with more custom structures you should check out my Vanilla Structure Update datapack. It has these villages plus more!

This datapack basically just replaces vanilla villages so you are still able to use sites such as https://www.chunkbase.com/ to locate villages across your world. This datapack doesn't add any new villager professions or trades. If you will install the datapack into an old world it will only start generating new villages in previously undiscovered chunks.

This is my first datapack so I might have made some mistakes in the creation of the datapack. If you find any mistakes please report them to me so I can fix them.

When I update my datapack you can delete the old datapack and install the new one. Every new village will be generated with the updated datapack.

If it’s for personal use, you can modify my datapack to your heart’s content. If, however, you want to distribute a separate, modified version to the public, I unfortunately, cannot allow that.

I would have to collaborate with that creator so i could get their permission to use their files and then implement them into my build. But that would probably break the datapack for those that don't use Guard villager mod

The buildings look really good but the villagers have trouble pathfinding to their beds, so they always end up zombified.

And the cartographer's home is called "map collector" ?

All cartographer houses should be called biomecartographer. Yeah I've noticed issues with pathfinding, it's usually due to trapdoors

I think this might be a bug. But when using the /place command to place the Cherry Village in a Snowy Taiga biome, it makes the village spawn underground, placing houses at random heights completely in their own columns or land and not connected to other features, with Stonebrick Pathways spawning on the surface.

Ive tested this a few different ways in that I found other villages to test this on by overlapping them on top, as well as the same biome in another part of the world, but this seems to be a unique issue to where Im placing it. Underground structures dont seem to make a difference as I also tested this above Strongholds and Dungeons, and height doesnt seem to make a difference either.

    Seed: -899591912241895689
    Coords: -3403 120 -1162

I suppose it might be possible due to the chunks being loaded by Arboria Datapack (https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/arboria-worldgen/)

But I have used MCA Selector to delete those chunks and re generate them as vanilla

As a last side, it may be that this is because it was a 1.19 world that upgrade to 1.20 and on the same seed those coordinates are an ocean and not a snowy taiga
