Arboria is a world generation datapack that improves most vanilla overworld biomes. The datapack's goal is to aesthetically overhaul the world without changing the progression too much.
This datapack is made for Minecraft Java 1.21.5.
For older versions visit the Modrinth page.
FEATURES
Arboria adds:
In general, blocks that generate in a biome are blocks you could obtain by only playing in that biome (example: coarse dirt can be crafted from dirt and gravel). The only exceptions to this rule are rooted dirt and moss carpet.
COMPATIBILITY
Arboria is made for Minecraft Java 1.21.5. For 1.19-1.21.4 versions visit the modrinth page (old versions).
The datapack will work on any vanilla server and should work on most modded servers (fabric, spigot, paper, etc.), but I cannot guarantee that. It doesn't work on realms.
Arboria is not compatible with any datapack that modifies overworld surface biomes. It is compatible with datapacks that change nether, end or cave biomes.
Arboria works with datapacks that add new biomes in addition to vanilla biomes, such as Terralith and William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld. Just make sure Arboria has a higher load priority (put it above Terralith/WWOO when adding datapacks to your world).
Note that the biomes were not designed to be used with other worldgen datapacks and may look out of place with surrounding biomes.

I am playing with the Woodlands:Extra mod, which also overhauls all the vanilla biomes, but Arboria's versions of these 3 biomes are much better, so I was hoping to be able to have Woodlands version of all the other biomes, but Arboria's version of just these 3 biomes.
If that is possible, would you be willing to do that?
In the "Settlement site Recipes" book you must add a 3D model next to the recipe of what each construction would look like.
I have a new found love for your mod. I have used the forge version and the datapacks for fabric. I am just in love with your tree generation.
That being said, I would like to make a request. Could you please provide us...or rather me, with a version that only generates the trees?
I do use your sappling datapack. What I am getting to is, I use your datapack on 1.20.1 of fabric with tectonic. But this makes the lakes and the rockpiles/boulders spawn too common. It's everywhere. I figured out how to remove lakes by removing certain "sentences" from the "structure set". But the rock boulders are just too common.
I would understand if you don't want to make one. But would you atleast guide me in how to remove them from the current datapacks? Deleting the rock folders just invalidates the data pack.
Hoping to hear from you. Keep up the great work!
