With the new era of PMC upon us, and my life being too boring to do anything else with, I've decided to set a new goal. PMC as a whole has shed its layers, down to the motley crew of Allergy_Man, PureNerd, XDInsanity, _FoxHound_, Drzzter, Drazile, and a few others holding down the fort. I think it's time we revive our beloved site, our trusted home, and begin a new era of refinement, one of prosperity, and most importantly, one of community. As such, I present to you...

We are a group of skinners from the Golden Age of PMC, where the blogs flowed like steamy molasses, the projects were godlike creations none of us dared try to top, and the skins section was the pinnacle of excellence. We mean to revive this site by posting quality content, providing new idea's, and maybe advancing our one true place of safety and comfort into the post-1.8 realm.

1. Answering any questions anyone might have. Please, by all means, send us questions you have about your skins, and we'll be more than happy to help. Some of us may be grumpy old people, though, so don't feel bad if we're a little harsh. We only mean good.
2. Setting up contests and the like.
3. Being active members of this site, ergo the entire point of this.
4. Getting back into Minecraft maybe and binging it because what else do we have to do, we're all under 18 pft.
5. Making groups on Skype so we can talk about said shenanigans.

Although I do not skin, (As I suck at it.) I am glad that this has been formed, to bring us back to the golden age of PMC. I bid you good luck on your journey, yet I fear, what you seek is close to impossible, sadly. I believe we have been taken over, and it would be most difficult to bring back the light, to this barren wasteland.

While I will not join your group I see the need for it. I just checked this site a few days ago after leaving for a long while and am astounded by the lack of quality on the skins section. I cannot create anything good myself but even my skins seem better than the pop reel. Every skin I see on it is a basic girl skin, not unique whatsoever.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that all the girl skins on the pop reel are basic and not unique. Whilst by the general eye the girl skins all look very similar, there's no denying that the makers of the skins spent time making these skins and thinking up interesting ideas, and it's unfair to say they aren't unique purely because they share the same basic traits. I think this group is more of just an attempt to restore the skin section of the site to a stage where there was a wider variety in the types of skins being made.
