IM CONFUSED! OPINIONS!
I was in my hardcore world and I observed that an Netherite axe has 10 attack points, more than a Netherite sword (8 points)

That's totally normal
Nothing to be confused about, an Axe is a weapon as well. It does more damage, but slower hits per minute.
the axe also gets damaged faster so it's fair
If you want to use it in fights, it is good on shields and needs less hits so mending works well with it
Silk Touch Mending Unbreaking Efficiency axe is ideal imo

Yea I was in my Hardcore world, beating a raid and i saw this
&I was kinda confused
Eventually you'll get used to the slower combat style. You need time to wind up before hits, unlike axe-mobs like brutes and vindicators.

Axes have more damage per hit in general, but will be much slower.
