Which update is worst

For me only 1.19.1 is the worst update because of the banning system.

1.19 isnt a bad update. Its not good, very underwhelming, but i wouldnt put it on the same levels as beta 1.8 and 1.9



1.19.1 on the otherhand, there's no competition. Worst update ever. The only way to revoke that title is to revert back to no player bans on BOTh versions, not just java. I'm glad server modders have found ways to block this stupid system so i can protect my players from it.

I am a 1.6.4-1.8.9 player to this day. I despise 1.9 combat. The 1.19.1 account ban thing only further assures me not to play new versions.

1.10. It adds effectively nothing, for the tenth major update.

1.16 because i kinda dislike netherite

1.14 because it made the game so much easier.
before 1.14, totems where considered rare and valuable, and now one can build a raid farm and get thousands.
i feel like the game has gone from a fun game where u survive and collect epic loot and be epic ( still is tho )
to becoming a game where one sits around collecting OP loot using a couple of farms

Everything after 1.8.9 because the combat system didn't need fixing.
There's a reason why so many Minecraft servers (including Hypixel) still use 1.8.9-style PVP. After all, spam-clicking is way more fun.

1.19 was just fine, although Mojang didn't deliver many of the changes they said they would implement. 1.19.1, however, will be awful. This is where the chat reporting will be implemented, and this is the feature that everybody, including me, hates.

1.7, it nerfed caves, removed the rose and broke hunger even more. it added trees, which is awesome, but doesnt justify the changes listed above. the worst kind of mc update is the one that removes something. 1.19 had bad marketing, and was disappointing for a wild update - if it was the damp and dark update and it was marketed like that from the start, im sure everyone would be super happy. beta 1.8 removed the instant healing, players were mad. 1.7 removed the caves, players were mad. 1.9 removed spam clicks, players were mad. while im one of the few that loves the new combat, i wont lie, removing the old combat was a big mistake, should have just been a gamerule honestly. but now we have mc servers staying on a version of minecraft that is closer to the classic versions than the writing of this comment. the new chat features are a whole another can of worms and its less minecraft and more microsoft, really, if you really want, you can communicate with all the swear words and other banned chat things in discord or something (but the chat reporting itself is garbage i must admit). rhe best minecraft updates just add, and change things in a way that give them more value (like campfires being given more function with the introduction of bees, or fireworks with elytra flight, or nether fortress with the wither). in retrospect i probably dislike 1.6 the most because its just boring, it has 1 major feature and thats it, and that feature (horses and travel they provide) has gotten more and more useless over the years with ice highways, elytra flight and the nether roof becoming a well known place to travel safely, but in the moment, 1.7 left the worst taste in my mouth

idk realy cuz some stuff in 1.19 is sorta cool like the warden and the frogs, but chat reports and stuff like that sucks

1.9 due to the PvP. However, the new update with Bans will definitely take the top spot on my list. Never updating my game.

I hear Beta 1.8 (or whatever the update that added the Hunger bar) is also widely hated.

i'd like to clarify that you CAN appeal to be unbanned. im not saying its a really fair system but i saw the description u wrote to be a bit misleading

1.19 is ok, the only problem was the cancellation of fireflies, but that's not so much, so i like 1.19, but for me the worst update is minecraft 1.19.1, so i think you should add as an option 1.19.1 appart from 1.19.

With each update, performance gets worse and worse. Nothing is optimized well. I'd rather go play 1.12.2 with mods than even touch 1.19

1.13 and up. Minecraft used to be simple. It's complications have since grown exponentially and have made it harder for me to learn.

Although; simple solution to avoid a ban: don't use chat. Use alternatives.

You are REQUIRED to include chat messages in your report, so no chat messages means there is nothing to report! No problem; if not for the fact that a lack of communication can make things harder.

If 1.19 had fireflies it would have been the best update but it feels so underwhelming, even with the deep dark..
