Bedrock Vs Java Edition

I have both. I just mainly play on java because I like mods and texture packs that are not found on Minecraft bedrock marketplace. My friends from irl used to only have bedrock edition, so I had no other choice but to use bedrock when I played with them. Now they all have java, so I rarely play bedrock.

I would vote, but I like them equally. If I didn't have optifine on Minecraft Java, I would vote bedrock

Java is better for technical stuff and usually recieves updates first, but Bedrock is better for long-range play with friends on other platforms. It depends which aspect of the game you prefer.

Java version is absolutely better in nearly all ways

Bedrock you have to pay for every little thing you want to change from the marketplace - god i hope microsoft doesn't try and push that shiz onto the java version like they have been with their strange and mysterious moderating system.

Java is more customizable but it can be harder to play with friends. Bedrock doesn't have great redstone but multiplayer is better for playing with friends

I don't like bedrock because even with those mods that you have to pay for, you can't even make a modpack to play with multiple at once, and you have templates for skins on console and it fricken sucks, Java is a little more technical yes but once you get to play its gonna be easy

Both are great and have their own perks. Java is better for mods and resource/data packs and is much easier to customize. whereas bedrock is better for playing with friends. Any responses you get on PMC will probably be biased as most PMC content is made for Java edition.

Personally I use java mostly because it was the only version available when I bought it ten years ago lol but also because it allows more customization with mods and data packs which can completely change the game.

Bedrock and Java are equally good. Bedrock is good for multiplayer, and is a bit easier to navigate around. Java is good for mods, and you can get snapshots easier, meaning you can try out the update before its release.

java is better (also buy the version 1.16.5 vanilla)

For the base game bedrock is soooo much better with lag and graphics, but there is a much larger community on java for mods and such

I have both but I think java's better because you get raw access to the world files and can edit them freely allowing you to have a lot more cool stuff than in bedrock but that's just the way I like to play.

Play Minecraft Bedrock Because Its inexpensive
