https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/winter-apocalypse/ so I found this datapack a little while ago but its made for 1.17. I really want to try and put this datapack in my server at some point to add a sort of winter snowstorm that causes snow in every biome as well as hordes of strays. But since it's in 1.17 and I'm absolutely clueless on how the heck you update a datapack or even how they work I can't update it. I already asked if the guy who made it will update it to 1.18 but I haven't heard back yet, does anyone know how to either update this thing or know of a different pack that has the same effect?

I've a similar data pack but that focuses more on heavy survival. You might want to check it Frozen Hell data pack of mine. I'm not sure it is what you're looking for but might be worth a shot.

Most likely, if it works in 1.17 it will work in 1.18.
True, its just theres a few biomes that are removed and some that just got added. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work because of this but if there was a way for me to add the biomes to the datapack or whatever I need to do to fix it then I'd do it but I've go no idea what I'm doing.
I'd help, but I don't know much about world-gen.
