We currently have polar bears and pandas. I believe that it would be cool to find grizzlies in the forests.

agreed.

Well, despite being a tired texture pack maker who's sick of re-texturing everything with each update, yeah. I'm totally all for adding bears in Minecraft! It would definitely finish up the We Bare Bears trio quite nicely. :3

I'd be so down for that, We Bare Bears was one of my favorite shows about 2 years ago.

A polar/panda/grizzly bear trio in Minecraft would be awesome! It would be interesting to see the grizzly bears try to catch salmon.

Even though Minecraft already has polar bears and pandas it would be a nice addition. Plus it would be way easier to find any kind of bears because there would be bears in more biomes.

They have already added polar bears and panda bears, I think we need a bit more variety in oure mobs.

i'd love to see other variations of bears. ♥

If it comes with a polar bear update I'm all for it.
Maybe with bearsyou could add honey as well and stuff like that.

They already added pandas.

Already got Polar and Panda Bears so I believe you're referring to Black, Brown and the other species.
Any Animal and Species that can have a saddle strapped to it gets my vote.

Camping mod added bears, it did not go well. 🤣

Insufficient information.
What kind of bears?
Found where?
What role would bears play in game? [Hostile, neutral. What drops (if any)? Combat stats? What interactions (if any) with existing mobs?]
It is debatable whether it would be desirable to add:
Bear.
Cow sized, neutral unless attacked mob with 24 health that does E4/ N6/ H8 damage.
Spawns only in roofed forest (and any variants).
Tracks pigs and zombies (any variant including drowned) to 40 blocks preferentially killing drowned > other zombies > pigs and will remove any meat type drops. Can track through and break wooden fences (but not gates or doors).
If killed by player, drops bearskin carpet (retextured but not duable carpet equivalent) and low probablility of a berry bush. [Logically, one would get berry seeds from the bears digestive track, but why unnecessarily add a new item…]
While not very detailed, such a description avoids counting votes for Killer Grizzly and Gentle Ben in the same catagory…

Only if they can be bred.

Or bread.

Personally I'd rather see Ridable Turtles and Tortoises introduced, and for requesting it I get a hybrid TurtleToise that converts to either when on land or in water. Yeeeeeeeeeeah baby. My head is so full of epicness that I just had to let it out.

I just think it's funny we have both of the least common bears on the planet in this game and not brown/black bears, which can be found throughout the northern hemisphere. Sure, there are lots of bear species and subspecies, but I think the addition of the "variety" of bear that most people are exposed to would be a nice touch. I guess I'd have to protect my food from bears from then on out, but that's a welcome challenge.

I think it would be cool, but the forest areas already have the wold. I would enjoy a mob for a new biome for sure
