      What are your opinions on transcendental idealism and kantian deontology?

      I feel that the latter is really just an extension of the golden rule. Its beautiful.

      i understand what you're trying to say and its completely valid. i would argue that with philosophy you don't always need to have a 'practical application' to what you reason out. sometimes its just for the sake of knowing 'more' or 'better'. i think, however, that the idea is very relevant when we consider less empirically accesible concepts like god, morality and philosophies like existentialism. and i think this is where kant was trying to go with the idea.

      What I think about transcendental idealism is that it's an interesting thought experiment, but that is all it is. I'm not quite sure how to word this, and I am definitely no expert on the matter and definitely may have interpreted it wrong, but I think we ought to focus on what we can perceive at current and enjoy what we can if that makes sense.

      As for Kantian deontology, I might actually have to get back to you on that one due to the moral dilemmatic nature of it.

      I just posted a piece of one of my favorite romantic poet's poetry without even seeing this. I so love Shelley's poetry! It's a pity he may not be loved. Such a scandalous man...

      And his wife too- Did you know wollstonecraft was mary's mum? I read a vindication of the rights of womyn some years back and i cant believe it was revolutionary at the time.

      You see my banner? That's Albert Bierdadt's masterpiece, 'Among the Sierra Nevada'. From one of my favorite art movements, Hudson River School a predecessor of luminism.

      And reality is definitely evoked by the mind and may exist exceedingly differently than what we perceive.

      And i would mention Bernini and Paganini but i think this is enough... right? 😌
