Judging

Ranked by Judges - Only members of the jam assigned with judging permission can vote.
Entries can't be updated during the judge phase.
22 day entry period.
7 day review phase after the entry period.
25% of entries ranked as finalists.
7 day voting phase on finalists after the review period.

Rating Criteria

1. Consistency
   Rate how cohesive the models feel with each other, as well as the rest of the texture pack
   Rated 1 to 10
2. Technique and Execution
   Rate the level of skill demonstrated with the creation of the entry
   Rated 1 to 10
3. Creativity
   Rate how original and creative the entry is in its conception
   Rated 1 to 10

For the first-ever Custom Model Resource Pack Jam, we will be providing a template resource pack + world for entrants to use in their development.

The jam theme is Magical Bakery

A custom resource pack template will be available on day 1 of the entry period. The items and blocks included in the template are the only content that will be judged. The jam will run for 3 weeks, with a 2 week judging period.

Submit your resource pack any time during the 3-week time period.

**Expectations**
It is expected that each item in the texture pack is an original model and texture.
While we do provide a template pack, we expect the items to be modeled in your own style.
You will have almost full freedom to redesign everything, though there are a few rules.
Items and Blocks must follow their function.

example 1: if the template has "baked goods" they cannot be remodeled into swords or something of that manner.
example 2: if the template has a smoker listed as a block, the only requirement is that the new model must be related to cooking (as that is its function).

Objects in the pack will be judged as Models, not Voxels.
Only the objects listed below will be judged.

Resource Pack Template

Submissions are to be uploaded to PMC as a texture pack within the submission time period.
As we are using the vanilla resource pack as a base, keep that in mind when texturing your models.
Maximum resolution of models allowed is 32x.
Our recommendation is 16x for blocks/misc, 32x for items.

  The final results have been released!
  We had some issues with judging and understanding how the PMC system worked, so apologies for the delay.
