🎃 Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice!It's finally Fall! What does fall mean to you? Cozy over-sized sweaters? Pumpkin lattes? Halloween? Let's help spread the fall vibes across our community!
During this themed month-long event, each member or team can enter
UP TO FIVE fall-themed creations! We welcome skins, maps and blogs or any combination of them. We encourage you to let your creativity shine and submit something in as many categories as your creative mind allows! As long as your entries relate to fall in some way, they are welcome in the Fall Festival!
What is fall? According to dictionary.com fall is a verb defined as " to move downward, typically rapidly and freely without control, from a higher to a lower level." Just kidding. "Fall" in this event is Autumn! You know.... the time of year when the temperature drops, the leaves turn beautiful shades of orange and brown and the best holiday happens (Halloween)! So whether you want to get spoopy or get cozy, the event welcomes any and all fall creations!
Event? Hrrrm... wut? This means there's no competition between any of us, no judges and no final leader board. Okay, so what's the point? This event is for the pure fun of creating something together as a community and seeing the theme shine through! At the end of the event, each participant will receive a special award for their trophy case. Go alone, team up, trick or treat, it's all good.
🦇 MEET ENDER & BATTY!!Ender and Batty are PMC's October Pets! Ender is a relatively shy ball of fur, popping up along the site header every now and then. You don't have to worry about bad luck if you come across this black cat though! You can actually consider yourself lucky!
For those of you that have been with us since be beginning of
last October, you might already have batty. We wanted to give members who weren't with us last year, a chance to get him! Batty is also a bit of a shy devil - you can spot him hanging off of random things like the pop reel, buttons, or the header!
Be sure to click on Ender and Batty when you see them! You'll receive a small trophy for your trophy case, and they'll be yours forever!
no clicky the Ender here... that's cheap!Here's how you submit your entry, it's quite simple. Make sure your thing is fall related. How it relates to fall, is up to you but feel free to use the description when it's an abstract relation. Upload your creation to one of the following categories: Projects, Skins or Blogs. When submitting the entry, check the box indicating it's for the "Fall Festival Community Event". Nice. Hit submit.
To add to the event HYPE between participants, we encourage you to diamond, favorite and comment on your favorite fall submissions this month. Maybe share your favorites in a wall-post or gather them into a collection! We appreciate receiving feedback on our creations.
Jump into a pile of leaves, throw them in the air and celebrate! You have the full month of October to participate!
Even though this is a non-competitive event, we encourage you to do your best. The event will be active for the entire month of October, so don't rush it!
Here are some tips for each category:🍂 Fall Profile Themes!If you decorate your profile, we want to see! Oranges, Reds, Blacks, Spooks, Pumpkins - There are a couple of ways to do this: you can comment on the official Fall Festival Community Event thread and let us know, OR you can tag us (Cyprezz, PMC) in a wall post and we will take a peek! At the conclusion of the event, we will feature one or more members profiles for readers to see!

Even though this is a non-competitive event, there are a couple of rules and guidelines.
Up to
FIVE entries per participant!
The event allows for any participant to enter up to five entries in any combination of projects, skins and blogs categories. Video's, artwork and other creative creations can also be shared as a blog-post.
- The standard rules of Planet Minecraft apply to any submission.
- You are expected to enter new work. This means you cannot enter any creation that was previously uploaded to Planet Minecraft.
- You are allowed to enter work that was created for another fall-themed unofficial community event.
- Collaborations and teamwork are allowed for this event.
- Submissions that do not follow the fall theme will be disqualified.

- If you create an entry which doesn't immediately seem fall-themed, please make sure to explain the relevance to the theme in your submission's description.
- You can create a skin, a blog-post and a project, you do not have to choose a single category.
- You have the entire month, so take your time and have fun!

Legal Terms
By participating in the event, participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and regulations and the decisions of Planet Minecraft are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this event.
No cash substitute or transfer of prizes is available. Prizes are awarded without warranty of any kind from Planet Minecraft, express or implied, without limitation, except where this would be contrary to federal, state, provincial, or local laws or regulations. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Decisions of Planet Minecraft and the voting system are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this event. Return of any prize/prize notification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any potential winner who cannot be contacted by email within 15 days of attempted first notification will forfeit his/her prize. Potential prize winner(s) and their parents/legal guardians may be required to sign and return an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability/Publicity Release within 30 days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Planet Minecraft at its sole discretion shall reserves the right to disqualify any Participant from the event if it reasonably believes that the Participant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the event by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or abuses, threatens or harassment of any other Participants, Planet Minecraft employees and affiliates.
Limitations of Liability:
By entering, entrants agree to release Planet Minecraft, and their officers, directors, employees and agencies from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind arising from their participation in the event or their receipt or use of the event prize.
Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of prize.
Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this event, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. Claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this contest, but in no event attorney's fees. These Official Rules shall be governed by, subject to, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, United States of America, excluding all conflict of law rules. If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, seek injunctive relief or make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this event are hereby excluded, and all Participants expressly waive any and all such rights.

Planet Minecraft will not be held responsible if for any reason the event is not capable of running or operating as planned due to infection by computer virus, fraud, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or force majeure that, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this event. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with or abuses any aspect of the event, as solely determined by Sponsor, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or postpone the event until a later date. Sponsor assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, or other failure of or related to the software platform on which the event is played, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this event.
