  Hi, playing mc on bedrock Edition atm and found a stronghold w/out a portal..
  
  does anyone know why this occurred as there isn’t anything below it apart from deep slate.
  
  There isn’t any loot or anything, just the starter staircase and the the initial hallway where rooms normally come off of.

  The world gen probably overwrote part of the stronghold with a cave or an ore, happens all the time but I've never heard of it happening to strongholds. I'd love to have the seed and take a look if you're willing, that's something you don't see everyday.
