Edicine What camera u using?? So sharp
Yuki • 2026-10-05 15:12:08

Canon R5 with the 85mm f2 macro, shot at 1/500s, f4.5 and ISO200. This is also cropped in a slight bit, so 33mp down from the 45mp native size of the camera.

As a shipbuilder myself, slabs are absolutely better, you could also try walls, stairs, and fence gates.

CooperTheBurgerKing1 I think with slabs looks better
CraftyFoxe • 2026-08-27 21:04:01

It's interesting from 1 year ago, I actually finished 46 projects I was building (can't fit the entire list in one pic). Still missing 6, though Boxer is near completion.

So, I mentioned a thing I wanted to share a couple weeks ago, never took proper photos of it but oh well.

I painted an Ozzy Osbourne bust, roughly at a 1/5th scale, for my mum's birthday, this process was done almost entirely on stream with guineafish over the course of several...days or weeks.

It was really nice to be able to share the process with someone, I always like having someone to paint alongside and I couldn't have chosen a cooler person for that.

guineafish • 2026-07-10 09:43:13

Indeed, I watched pretty almost the entire thing and it was peak. Yuki is scary with the paints, but it's also magical how he put paints down and kinda just knew what to do. It's also fun to see how the layers of paint and colors start adding up into whats now the finished piece :D Plus it's always fun seeing an artist actively working on their art, you get to see their gears turning whilst producing what they do
Truly a great bust paint job!

Skin artists can now choose whether to disable downloads on per skin basis. Why? Because some artists want to share their personal skins, some want to share commissions, and some just want credit and more control over how their work gets used elsewhere.

When you upload or edit a skin (or mob skin), you'll find a new "Allow public downloads" toggle. Turn it off and:
The download button disappears from the page
The direct download link is blocked, even if someone has it bookmarked
Your skin still shows up fully in listings, your profile, and search. It's just view-only

This is opt-in and only affects new uploads or skins you edit. Nothing changes for your existing downloadable content unless you flip the switch yourself.

Artists please note that this feature discourages casual downloads but cannot guarentee complete protection of your work. Hoping to see some high quality inspirational skins that would otherwise never see the light of PMC!

When you have one of those friendships where you can just sit and chat for hours, from serious topics to comforting your friend to giggling about absolute nonsense without skipping a beat and then all of a sudden it's 21 hours later and you're still on a call and could keep going for even longer? That's true wealth in life, nothing compares to it.

You know who you are.

I have a thing to share coming up when my camera batteries aren't dead as I streamed the entire process to guineafish (with much laughter during the final few hours of the process). It's probably one of my favourite busts I've painted so far and I've painted a couple bangers that were given away as a gift.

If you know me and the country where I reside...let's just say the name of who I painted is along those lines.
