    the pain of i wanna do sf but my newer style is so much more complex than last year and i have exams so i can only make like 1-2 skins a day max when last year i was doing like 5 a day smh

    lol yeah this is why i'm kinda on the fence about joining this year, as i know for a fact that i will want to make and/or publish a skin everyday, but unless i make a whole lotta skins in advance there's no way i'll be able to do that and keep the quality consistent.

    Fast skinners problems
    I made less than one per day on average (for the first 20+ days I tried to at least complete the bounty board and then I made 2-3 skins per day)

    random q do people still get mad when people pick and choose parts of religions they like and dont follow the full thing cus like i think people should be able to believe whatever they want they dont have to follow a set religion if they dont want to but like i swear people get mad over it so like thoughts?

    I'm not comfortable if it's used in a way to cut corners and stop doing things you would deem as "too hard", and, like drzzter said, use it in a negative way. If it's just picking parts you believe, I feel like either way it probably falls into at least one religion (or some other broad denomination like being a christian)

    it only bothers me if the picking-and-choosing occurs to justify bad/harmful behaviors. i.e, i think it's fine to be forgiving/merciful/kind while abstaining from giving away all your worldly possessions like jesus taught, but i don't think it's OK for people to pick-and-choose parts of their holy texts which "justify" sexism/homophobia/racism while ignoring other parts of the book that would inconvenience the reader (or which outright contradict the sexist, homophobic, or racist sections of the text)
