Another little update on my Airbus build. Should hope to finish the main Fuselage soon. Not many details on it right now, just trying to get the structure of it. So many little details to add, including the interior.

Trying to get the shape of the wings, and tail is going to make me scream, and I haven't even gotten to building the engines on them yet lol

I've been reeling for a few days from this, but I've seen a couple kind of concerning posts on here about the recent overrule of Roe v. Wade in the United States, so now I'm here--trying to make a wall post on a Minecraft fan-site that makes me feel like I'm helping restore some balance to our fucked up world.

I feel so bad for the young people here who have been raised into ignorance by their families and hold opinions that are so damaging to not just other women, but all people who can become pregnant, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ people. I was one of those people, but chose to seek knowledge and perspective from others with experiences different than my own. I grew and changed and came to understand the broad and overreaching implications of this Supreme Court decision.

If you are someone who is against abortion--regardless of why--please educate yourself. Some people take all the right precautions not to become pregnant and do everything right and still wind up in the position where they have to decide to terminate their pregnancy. Maybe their child has a birth defect that will result in a short and painful life. Maybe their pregnancy is ectopic and a threat to person carrying. Maybe they are too unhealthy to carry a pregnancy without complications such as increased blood pressure, excessive weight gain, depression, exacerbating poor dental health, or gestational diabetes. Maybe they miscarried and need an abortion pill or procedure in order to fully remove it because their body isn't doing it themselves.

Maybe they lack the finances to support a child and could not bear to send another soul into the broken and wanting Foster Care system, where some 80% of children face mental illness (National Conference of State Legislatures 2019). If you are reading this and consider yourself "pro-life", have you considered lives of people who are going to be trapped in generational poverty by being forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term or permanently injured or killed because of a treatable pregnancy complication? That is the reality of this decision. It's also not the end of the consequences for the United States.

Justice Clarence Thomas of the United States Supreme Court suggested that the Court reconsider "past rulings codifying rights to contraception access, same-sex relationships and same-sex marriage" (Forgey & Gerstein 2022). Just because he is officially alone in this opinion now does not mean the court is not coming for those rights next. We know this because the justices who supported this decision lied during their Senate confirmations about their views of Roe v. Wade and their intent to overturn it (Sullivan 2022).

Please--if you hold yourself against these rights on the basis of religion or morality--consider that the founders of this country intended freedom from religious tyranny and the freedom for people to live as they see fit. Another person making the impossible choice to terminate their pregnancy is not your choice as much as it isn't their choice to force you to get an abortion yourself.

If you are reading this and are like me, please consider supporting a reproductive rights organization in some way. Be it agitating for change online, going to marches and protests, donating time or funds to the right to an abortion, or just being an ally to the people around you. Get involved in your community and get to the God-damned polls to vote. Everyone deserves the dignity of the ability to make these intensely private and difficult medical decisions for themselves.

I like how my dreams can go from something so serious and normal, that I'd think it was just another normal day of being awake, and wasn't a dream, to Crawling through a low watery cave, to grab a oversized fish that is trying to bite me, and just leaving with it to get an "achievement" like in a game??? All in the same dream lol

This is a stressful time for everyone, we all need to support each other, not go against one another.

If people are bothered by posts they're seeing, they need to unfollow or block these people temporarily. If you're not being affected by the things people are posting about and you're bothered by the fact that they are posting such things, please do yourself a favour and ignore it.

I'm someone who posts a lot about issues, mostly to warn people, such as the Discord hack(er?) yesterday. If you're not happy with seeing those things, I will not be offended if you unfollow me. You can still view my content/skins if you enjoy them, nothing is stopping you, especially when wall posts are avoidable.

I'm personally not bothered by the posts, especially considering I have friends and family who are directly affected. It's extremely upsetting for me, as well as many, many other people.

Please stay safe and don't attack (edit: or insult) anyone for simply making posts about stresses in their life, it's likely that everyone (including you) does the same or has at some point. These people need love and support, not to be hated on; this goes for everyone.

(I know this ^^ is repeated, but it's important.)

TLDR; Sketchy server that hacks people via QR code (and possibly link, as well). There are over 7k people there currently.

hey everyone! since a lot of you are on discord, I think it's fair to share this here.
tv man (Gelos) was contacted by someone who sent him an invite to a server that basically hacks your account.
(More people I know were sent it, as well. Exact same message, down to the lowercase "i"/"im"s).

Here's the message, including the server.

and a bigger picture of the server name + amount of members.

he found out that you get hacked by using an unimportant alt account (with the expectations of getting hacked). According to him, your account is hacked after scanning a QR code. It's likely the link that is sent is also dangerous.
The hacked account sends messages to most people on their friends' list, then continues to block them.
It appears that it's simple to get the accounts back, but it may be risky.

Please stay safe out there! Don't click any links, scan QR codes, etc. unless you're 100% sure they are safe and trustworthy.

oh dear I haven't been on in half a year wldfkdsf
time kind of flew by fast AHH

I have a lot of unfulfilled things I said I'd do and I'd like to apologise to anyone I may have let down in the past 6 months+, and a lot of it is because of lack of motivation and how many things I have going on simultaneously (dies in cs major), plus bad time management. This has been an upsetting pattern in my minecraft skinning career orz

I genuinely hope to catch up on things going forward, maybe no more insane skin bursts but just take things at my own pace again. Making skins makes me really happy but I have a problem with not focusing enough on what I like to make, and focusing a lot on what others want to see from me. On top of that, I will pick up and drop my interests in the blink of an eye, which doesn't help lol.

Thanks to everyone who's stuck with me for so long! I really appreciate it and hope you'll consider sticking around for a bit longer <3
