New month, new week, new map drop that i hope i can impress you with π I´ve put a lot of work into reworking many core nodes of my WorldMachine Build, creating the fundamentals for future improvements im aiming for. With that also comes alot of troubleshooting, but got that really well under control. Despite my efforts, i really hope/depend on your feedback, and looking forward to the things you notice:)
The changes:
added new mountain-type fold-mountains
coastline rework for more dynamic coastlines
created a procedural base land generation with adaptive world edge mask
Volcanos size increased, reworked volcanos as a selective mask
reduced mushroom biomes, switched mushroom biomes to selective mask
higher/steeper waterfalls, reduced waterfall steps for highlands: 15 to 9
fixed cave islands, where they were masked by the core terrain accidentally
fixed a core map-edge issue where if the map gets to low, a rift would form
1.20 plans
1.20 is dropping tomorrow and im working rn on implementing all the new features
Older maps should be compatible with 1.20 as loot chests access vanilla loot tables that contain the new items, but will lack the new terrain features/structures
Days have passed and a ton of work has been done to set up upcoming changes and improvements a thing that was on my wishlist for way too long were: waterfalls I still think those can be even further improved and done more dynamic and stylized but that's up to Future-Meddon.

New finished.. ive been working on for days.. because i went down the rabbit hole of: "i could add/change/improve this and that and so it became the smallest map with like months worth of changes
The biggest rework has been the snow and texturing. Reworking the flows, sediments and tallus´s.
