I have made a new ticket called 'Change "Friends" To "Mutuals"' to address mine and other members concerns about the name.

It also has the link to my original wallpost talking about my thoughts on it but here's the short summary I made for it:

To summarize my thoughts, a few members of PMC, including myself, would like to bring forward some concerns we have with the new "Friends" list and how it's named and would like the name changed to "Mutuals" instead as it is more of a mutuals system and a couple members other than myself do not want strangers on PMC to think we are friends with them when we are not.

I know ZappyGru was the one who made the idea and his ticket got to 33 likes, so if we can get up to that or around that number to get Cyprezz's attention on it, that'd be awesome!

While we're on the topic of tickets, I found this ticket by ohio920dagamer talking about making wallposts easier to search through by making a searching system for them. It's something I've been wanting for a while too but kept forgetting to make a ticket myself for it.

Just wanted to add that with PMC's rule changes to prohibit genAI content, helps contribute to protecting the environment, even by a small margin, by heavily discouraging and mostly preventing some community members from using genAI.

Note: I am aware that AI in general is or has been damaging to our environment in one way or another, but genAI has sped up the process and it is not something that should have been released without proper precautions and laws in place. Us humans need to work on protecting our planet better and preserving it as AI evolves in general. While the majority of us are merely citizens who cannot change anything on the major side by ourselves, we are stronger when we work together and behave as a community as we have here on PMC.

As a PMCer who mainly has contributed to the PMC community through art and the art community. (fanart, fancomics, etc etc) This issue is near and dear to me, and I couldnt be prouder of what this community is doing. Its like ive always said, PMC is a really special place. The mod team all does a lot to keep it all running, but the heart of our community is you guys, so thanks again, and keep on creating!
