the only thing i think i've actively wanted to add to pmc is the ability to post multiple skin files in one post

like if you've made two versions of a skin, one with long hair and one with short, instead of having to post each version separately or insert the extra files/images in the description..it'd be sick to just have them as options under the same post, so they could both have the 3d preview.

don't really know if that'd actually be feasible, but holy moly would it be qol

Thank you!! & you can pick randomly! There's also no need to do a skin every day or do the entire board. The only time limit you have is that the event ends on October 31st!

if you wanna do certain themes that aren't on this years board, you can still post those skins as regular halloween/autumn content, unrelated to skintober. or even try to find a way to relate those skins to the board. wanna make a zombie skin? sure, u can say they got their "karma" or smth LOL

& hey at least you asked!! tons of people just assume my event is free real estate 😭

i personally dislike when people make their own prompts (i have a wallpost explaining my feelings though it's subs only) but it's not something i can actually police. i will say...if you're using your prompts...you're not joining my event?? im never going to encourage people to copy/steal my event, so im not really sure how to answer this tbh??

glyphs could be something historical, mythological, or magical...think ancient cultures like norse runes, egyptian hieroglyphs, sumerian cuneiform...or classic wizardry in fantasy works like minecraft, d&d, etc.

your interpretations of prompts don't have to be super literal :) so don't stress!! & im always down for throwing out some ideas if anyone is struggling!

fair points! having different sections under one post would be very messy, seeing the jam cards just reminded me of how skin collections look, like it'd be satisfying to be able to group 'em together in a collection. ultimately it's not super necessary. wallposts/groups are definitely enough in terms of promotion. what i was thinking of would just be a quality of life feature for a pretty niche group of people, i don't know that enough people even host annual events for it to be worth the addition. the jams feature is already great as is from what i can tell!

for contests/events that are hosted annually, could there be a feature in the future to have different sections within the one jam for each year instead of having to create a completely new jam every time? or maybe have a feature for "related" events, kind of like submission collections, but for jams?

also this is a v exciting feature to have, so ty :pray:
