watching the twotap digital art summit today, i came across a video where the artist had people on ig give her prompts for a character so i though i'd try it out!

the prompts can be as crazy as you want, or as simple as you want, but i wont use all of them (for example if i get two prompts for a hairstyle), the only limitation is nothing that changes the pose because i dont want to erase it lol

    here's my base

i dont think ill get this many prompts, but just in case, the max is 20 total (max 3 per person)

this has to be the best video sam has made by far

    GlitchPro β€’ 2026-09-06 21:46:43
another niece of our great uncle sam?? let's go
and yes i agree, tutorial-wise it's a really good one. i'd say it fights with the anatomy one though like that video is the only reason i know proportions

    important question

eclipse (not my favorite but most fitting)

    planet (my personal favorite)

or moon (works because there is another moon on the skin)

which one do you like best?
i might use the other two in later skins anyway..
    Wyns β€’ 2026-08-25 21:29:09
the planet’s my favorite, personally, but I also quite like that moon

trying to figure out some other colors that look completely different than their base hues
the top row is the palette from petrichor. i found it really interesting that so many variations can be made out of only a few hues

the bottom row ones aren't as drastically different but i still would not have guessed the base hue for those

on another note i've noticed there are mainly two reactions i get when i tell people that i have hypophantasia

one is people who are surprised that some people can't voluntarily make mental images

then there's the other people who are like "yeah some people can't see things in their head"
i don't think they realize that the percentage is about 6%

they act like its no big deal but trust me when aphants find out that the majority of the population can SEE things in their heads, its super hard to comprehend and you spend a good three days questioning your life

the hypophantasia i have is a bit different, where i can see some things if my eyes are open, but its not voluntary, it just pops into my head and is gone in less than a second
if my eyes are closed i dont see anything

this does not stop me from having vivid dreams, however
i just can't remember or picture them when i wake up

    anyway
GlitchPro ahh okay i guess i kind of get it like you know *something* happened but no idea what it was

    revised carrot + apple

i have finally decided on a theme and will be redoing wood in a bit!
dont mind that the apple looks like a tomato i'll probably fix that soon

also im going to rant because i can
i found out today that i am hypophantasic which means i can't visualize things in my mind and its super weird to me that other people can see things in their heads??

its like if i told you that most people can see through solid objects. you can almost but not quite guess what it would be like

i know ive heard people say "close your eyes and visualize this" but i always thought that meant think about the object. but no? people can actually see things with their eyes closed?

sometimes i can see like shapes but theres no color or details. it is definitely better with my eyes open like just staring at a blank wall i can see a more refined shape and some colors thats why i have hypophantasia instead of aphantasia but still my mind is blown
Rosa_Scarlet the apple and carrot r very beautiful! love them <3
