Discord did something strange lately were they changed how their media is formatted and linked, meaning that many of old images on discord have had their links changed. Which has created a problem were now if you look at any older content I posted that has images linked directly to discord, all of those images will appear as 404s. Meaning to fix this I have to manually re-link all the images, which I will not do; unfortunately. I just simply do not have the patience... sad to see such a strange thing happen.

I'm reading Wuthering Heights rn, and I can confidently say that the place demonstrating hell itself truly is... England. The memes were right dammit.

I also haven't slept in 23 hours, so I'll probably pass out soon. It's just that the book is interesting and I also went to hang out with my old friends for the first time in half a year. I'll try to post something if I'll still have time this weekend.

My father died today. Or maybe it was yesterday. I barely knew him, except for his addictions, so the only thing this means to me is that I'll be getting a benefit every month for the next three years.

I've been down mentally for quite some time, my heart's been aching badly for the last three days, and the lack of sleep doesn't do me any good either.

I've spent most of the free time I had to rest. I planned to post this much earlier. Here's a sketch of yet another character:

Still designing Sophia's old buddies. I have some extra time this week, so I hope to make more progress (maybe even worldbuild a bit for fun, hopefully).

This character has a story purpose and some connection to other characters. That's all I know about her (I usually give characters names after they're complete, so I can pick meaningful ones, call her whatever for now, ig). Despite literally being a sacrificial lamb for story purposes, I still need to work on her and, most importantly, the whole point of why she is in the story.




At this point I just hope that: 1) the plot turns out well (it probably will); 2) I don't ruin everything with my shitty writing (I probably will >:p ).

Anyway, here's Andrei. My plot has a bunch of blurry stuff, so I'm kinda working on that by expanding on Sophia's past. I'll probably post some other characters soon.

I've also been having the urge to work on my mc maps, but my laptop is still dead, so I need to cope somehow.

I was drawing and IbisPaint crashed. I couldn't open it anymore. I've already lost my files like this once. Thankfully, there's nothing a phone restart can't fix... I guess. I don't remember if I tried restarting the previous time, if not, well, oopsie.

First time I actually design a character thoughtfully. I now also have Tumblr, but I don't know if I'll be active there, so let's ignore the fact right now.

A cover for a book I might or might not finish/publish. Figured with the constant change in my artstyle I'd have to redraw it again when publishing chapters anyway.

It's a strange one. I don't necessarily see much mistakes (perspective is pain and I didn't start properly, so it might be a bit off in some parts), but something just feels off. I've even added minor blur and some stuff where it looks nice. My guess is that I either want my lines thinner or better coloring (probably both). It's supposed to be mostly pale, but it just doesn't look intended?? Idk.

One thing is I'm slowly getting better. Or not slowly, considering the rapid changes in the artstyle even though I barely practice.

Also I hate college, learn things you want to do before you're left with no time to spare.

I think I'm getting better in writing, but there are still things for me to practice. The major issue is that my style just doesn't work in Russian and I want the book thingy to be in two languages. I should also expand my English vocabulary (probably grammar too, though, I rarely see my mistakes, even if they do exist)

I don't think my world building skill has grown much. I kinda thought out a lot of stuff for characters, though.

My comic-artstyle hasn't changed much, aside from me being more comfortable I guess. Still want to try thinner lines, like already been said.
