For modern browsers, it can be difficult for a site to directly hack your account; usually they force you to download malware, run a command on your computer, or some other scummy practice. You can still upload images, but it's likely that the site or some other third-party is tracking your IP and selling it. This happens with many sites, not just postimages.
Some things that it may do:
1. It may fullscreen your browser, and pretend that your account is being hacked. IT IS NOT ACTUALLY BEING HACKED IF YOU DO NOT DO ANYTHING.
What you immediately need to do is PRESS F11 if you're on windows.Then, press CTRL+W to close the tab. Whatever iti s, it is malicous.
