Useless Minecraft Trivia for 1.20.4:
Currently, across all items available in Minecraft (excluding upcoming feature items like the Crafter), we have 1033 items with a stack size of 64, 176 items with a stack size of 1, and 45 items with a stack size of 16.

As someone looking in not knowing much about the space, this is a really good video talking about plagiarism. Granted, I haven't watched the whole thing as of yet (I'm only 1 hours in, mostly listening to this as I'm working on the updates), but it's a good one to know about so far. So many creators got called out, and properly so. I'm sharing it so the research was not for nothing!

Anyways, more datapack updates coming soon!
Fishing Extended is one of those being updated today, with a bugfix that I should've made since v20b1. So for tonight's series, you'll be getting 2 updates on that pack (20b2 and 20c1) as well as some others I'm still working on and testing to make sure the optimizations didn't introduce any extra bugs. See you then!

Having so many updates to push at once often means that I'd have to manually come to the page tomorrow evening to add the latest news to the rest of the packs that wasn't notified yesterday due to the 5 packs per day update cap that, in an ironic twist of fate, I myself have proposed. So in a way I've somewhat proposed to backstab myself. And it actually happened. Way to go, Spy.

PS: Version 20c1 have arrived to 7 projects today!
Only 5 of them actually got an update log notification though due to the limit I'd previously mentioned. Will manually add the rest in tomorrow.

Alongside v20c1 developments, the upcoming Project 521, I also need some extra help with something.
The Tropical Fish Head in Decapitation isn't that accurate compared to the Tropical Fishes you've been seeing since 1.13. I want to change this, but MinecraftHeads don't really have a database of 3072 Tropical Fish Heads I can add to the game. (they've recently also allowed so many ads running, kinda gives me the Fandom vibes which I don't like)

Anyway, I need your help. I need the skin textures for these 12 Tropical Fish variants.

If your design is accepted, you'll be credited as the Tropical Fish Heads contributor,
with a link to your profile in the pack's External Credits file.

There are some criterias I'd need these heads to be in though:
- These needs to be player skins so I can add them to Decapitation. (you only need to texture the head)
- These also needs to be grayscaled - I'll add the colors in later to generate the 3072 variants I'd need for the tool.
- There should be a stark lighting contrast between the base and pattern colors so the tool can pick up the differences and add the colors programatically.
If you got a good design, you can send them via PMC Messages, the comments, or on Discord if you so choose. Also, if you can't do these, share the message to anyone who can.
That would help me a lot. See you soon!

No worries, I made a lot of messups that I've hidden when I code stuff too. Could be at least a thousand had I counted it all up.
Also, If you've found anything interesting about these submissions do let me know.
I think I may still have some posts using /posts instead of /file back in the earlier days of me messing around with Patreon's infinite file hosting offer. They should all be free by now, but if I'd missed something your systems may have spotted, then do let me know.

Fixed but all I did was rescan your submissions with the existing rules. Not sure yet, why they went back to being flagged as monetized considering the same rules I just ran... are responsible for it. Will figure it out. Sorry!

It's December so I got a weird snow problem for ya'll.

Using Silk Touch, it's possible to get the snow layers back from digging up snow layers.
If you stack up 8 snow layers, and Silk Touch that, you'll get a full snow block.
Since digging up snow layers normally gets you a snowball, this means that a snow block is made of 8 snowballs.

Wait a minute, how many snowballs does it take to craft a Snow Block again?
And how many snow layers do you make if you craft it up using Snow Blocks?

A fun fact while you wait for the next project to be released:
Sawblade's Partial Cutback rule does consider the multiple ways an item can be obtained.
This is why Quartz Blocks can never be cut back into Quartz, as Masons (for some reason) also offer this block.

This is just one example of the cases I had to consider for this rule though.
