    I don't usually make serious posts, but I do want to say something.

    People, especially minors, absolutely need to stay safe online (and irl ofc). It's really important to be mindful of who you speak to, and what you publicly post online. I'm unable to stop folks posting their age or name on the internet, but if you do, please be wary of who you're around and what sort of community you're sharing with!

    edit:

    some tips to stay extra safe is not to accept random friend reqs/follows (example, on insta or discord) especially if you don't have any sort of event thing (like commissions or a contest) open.
    Another is not to share your (full) name, location, date of birth + age (one or the other at times as well).
    And if anyone ever makes you uncomfortable, don't be afraid to block them or contact someone else for help.

    (i've had some weird instances on discord and games, even, and dont want this happening to anyone else, if anyone is wondering why this post is random. i am okay though and they're all old!)

    Indraft here with a reminder:

    Please get vaccinated, continue to wear a mask, wash your hands, and avoid large social gatherings. Wearing a mask and getting vaccinated is the only way to keep everyone safe and stop the spread.

    Know someone hesitant about getting the vaccine or wearing a mask? Encourage them to do so! I know it's incredibly frustrating having to argue with a brick wall of all things, but even the slightest conversation could make a huge difference in the outcome.

    Remember that although you may not be at risk, someone else potentially is, and you could do irreparable damage should you spread the virus to them. Be effectively cautious around people and use ya noggin! Ask yourself: am I in an area where cases are skyrocketing? Do I need to go to that event on Friday? Do I live with at risk family? Am I following social distancing procedures? All of these are important questions that can keep people safe should you remember to answer them.

    Although some of our governments are failing us, that does not mean we, the people, need to give up as well. Everyone NEEDS to do their part to stop the spread of COVID-19, or else we're going to be right back at square one. We have a large load on our shoulders, folks, and I can't say for certain that it will get easier, but I am optimistic that we will go right back on track to slow the spread.

    If you are unsure how to get vaccinated or are confused by anything revolving around vaccines, masking up, or COVID-19 in general, I'll try my best to answer and quell all of your concerns in my PMs. I am a resource for all of PMC, and that also means I am a resource to keep people safe and informed.

    This is a game of empathy--this is a game of logic. Let's get it right this time, folks.

    I doubt this happens as much on PMC, but I wanted to point out something.

    Copying and pasting kind messages seeming like they're directly for the person you're copying it to completely takes away the "kind" part.
    Someone recently did this to me on skindex, and I appreciated it at first, until I went on their page to thank them for complimenting my skins and saw someone else thanking them. I looked on that person's page and saw the exact same comment as the one that had been posted on mine.
    While it isn't too big of a deal to me, it does sort of feel like a "follow me, I'm being nice to you but not really" sort of thing. That is trying to trick someone, which isn't okay. <3
