My first mod, Hominid, just released on Curseforge!

Hominid is a small mod featuring the long gone humans of the Minecraft world. It focuses on both adding new, and tweaking existing player-like skeletons and zombies.




These new monsters bring some more variation to combat and can make certain biomes more challenging, while making the mobs better fit their environment. Hominids will vary in rarity and behaviour, which means not all of them will be hostile!

Hey. It's been a long while since I've properly checked out this place. Three months in fact. Guess that's what happens when you finally get yourself a job, I suppose. You get so little time for yourself. I'm certain I've missed out on something here, whatever it could be. But anyways, that's where I've been, in its simplest form.


To my surprise, there has been recent demand for updating Vanilla Parity for 1.21. At least from the looks of it, I've yet to check the analytics as of writing this.
To bring up some form of assurance, I do have plans on updating it, but with one major change: All features regarding world generation will be removed. With the reason being that world gen packs aren't really compatible with each other when it comes to changing the vanilla generation. You can only choose one or the other, or go through the effort of manually mixing in the two and hoping that it works, which i believe not many people would want to go through. And for a data pack that also brings in other features, you're unfortunately stuck with the one if you want to add in more worldgen packs, or have to make a sacrifice. I have the belief that removing the worldgen features would open more doors for players to be able to play it alongside more data packs. I've done it for the Revoked version, removing any alterations to the vanilla advancements, with that kind of belief in mind. Though I would like to hear some feedback on my thought process, before acting on the decision unwarranted.

To be honest, I've been starting to lose a bit more interest in using this site as a social media platform. I've been more active on Bluesky, which has been a really nice breath of fresh air after the miasma that has been Twitter over the years. That doesn't mean I'm completely abandoning this place. I am really grateful for the moments I've had here, the people I've meet, and the memories made during my time there. Especially the PMC SMP. Wish there was a download to that world, honestly.

might wanna update Vulpes Vanilla and some other stuff again soon just to fix some stuff. If there are any textures or features that don't work let me know. Or if there are any missing GUI textures I need to update. I haven't really been playing much Minecraft recently so I am a little out of the loop on what has been added and what might need fixing. I'll check back in here in a few days. Also if you have any other questions regarding any of my other packs or any of those might also need updating lmk. Have a great day yall.
