Limiting navigation to the piracy era (roughly 17th and 18th centuries) is quite unfortunate. There could have been room for more interesting and original ideas than just pirates... (Antique (Greek sailors, Phenician traders, Roman galley crew), Middle Age (Viking era, trading), Renaissance (discovery of the New World), Victorian Era (steam boats), Transatlantic era (Titanic, Lusitania), world wars (Atlantic and Pacific wars), even modern era (Modern piracy, smuggling, yachting) or futuristic (dystopia, dramatic rise in sea level))
I may have wrongly interpreted the description, but the way it is written strongly implies a limitation to the piracy era. How sad :x

From my own experience, the vast majority of people interacting with each other here are skin makers. I have the feeling that mods/maps creators on the other hand, just upload their work, and barely interact with people, which is for many a good way to get an audience and the sympathy of users. It’s not a matter of content, really. It’s just about human relationships ;)

Drawing, cooking, listening to music, playing minecraft, going out with friends, partying, swimming, player basketball, hiking, singing in the shower, watching movies and anime, reading, lazying in my bed, cuddling my best friend, shopping, wandering in the wilderness, lying down in grass. I also collect artbooks and original artworks, but these are super expensive :s

TITLE : Soot and silk

DESCRIPTION : You now find yourself propelled back in the middle of the Victorian Era! What would you choose to look like? An fancy dressed aristocrat? A grimy miner? Or maybe an infernal steam machine? It's up to you, the only limit is your imagination!

Make a skin based on the Victorian Era, which covered almost two thirds of the XIXth century. If this historical period is mostly famous for its elegant and ornate fashion, don't forget that it is also the time of the late industrial revolutio, mining exploitation, great street poverty, and of course Sherlock Holmes! You can take inspiration from famous writers, such as Charles Dickens, Arthur Conan Doyle or Jules Verne, from the cinema, animation, video games, or even create your own character!

You all seem to be very inspired and this is cool and everything but.. Couldn’t you take time to inquire about the former official contests there used to be here, and read other users suggestions before posting yours? It seems there are lots of duplicated ideas :s

Are you sure you have written the correct address? It’s play.planetminecraft.com and you need to be in 1.16.4 ;)
(And no, there is no whitelist, you will only need to type /pmcverify <your pmc username> upon joining the server

I've been playing there for about two weeks now, so I don't really have any particular favorite moment, but admittedly, I was quite pleasured to finally get my pigstep disk after raiding about ten bastion remnants.
