I've been away for a few months I guess? Didn't realize how long it's been. jeez...
Some life updates
1) ๏ปฟHad another kiddo just about 2.5 weeks ago 2) Started investing some more time and energy into my personal design business (not MC related) 3) Crankin hard at my new job, been in some crazy intense training for 2 months or so, should be done at the end of July.
Unfortunately, it's only really good for animating solely in blockbench. So limiting to some extent, but still lots of fun! This is (close, if not the exact) method that Violet over on Twitter uses for their animated vids.
:O Congrats man! Hope you are getting some sleep with all of that! And thank you for the tutorial! I’ve been exploring blockbench and those have been confusing me LOL
1) If I were to release this Vault Dweller Jumpsuit, what's the best way to present it? Should I have it just as an outfit with transparency so people can overlay it on their own skins, or should I keep the base skin shown for the person wearing the suit?
So I've been practicing skinning again... could I get some honest feedback on this Vault Dweller jumpsuit (styled after the one seen in the show) I feel like I'm settling into my preferred style LINK TO MY TWEET
In the process of making a tutorial for interchangeable faces within blockbench animations. Unfortunately I don't think this will export to things like blender or sketchfab - but it would allow for some cool stylized animations right inside blockbench!
The process can be seen in the video below (not giving a peek under the hood just yet) ;)
For the video it'll be a different character. the project will also be made publicly available for free so you can play with it on you own!
I'm currently working on a tutorial for creating interchangeable features in blockbench! You can see it here with Duo as he blinks and smiles. Each face is a different element and then controlled by a variable to dynamically hide and show it!
