Just realized I never made an official leaving post... whoops!

Here's something I wrote back in July:

I think I've fallen out of the Minecraft skins community because of a) the unnecessary immaturity and drama that never seems to diminish here, and b) Techno's passing. I feel that both of those have affected my maturity and made me realize real life is more important than online happenings, especially since I need to think more about high school, college, and work, instead of pixel art.

I'm eternally thankful for the friendships that the skinning community has created for me, and I hope to continue those even though I'm not planning on being active here anymore. (Specifically to the Emerald Team <3)

As of now, I don't think I'll be making anymore skins unless I get a burst of inspiration. I have been a staff member for events such as Skin Fight and Skinners Olympics, and I'm not sure if I'll be staffing for them again in the future (probably helping out a little bit though). (December edit: no, I am not staffing for them but I'm always in the Discord server :). )

Leaving Skindex was the first big step for me, and leaving PMC is the second. It's a bittersweet decision, but I know it's the right one to make. Growing out of the skinning community has honestly feels like a relief, like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Even though I'm a little sad about departing from this website, I'm excited for all of the new interests that will appear in my life as I grow older.

Thank you for all of the wonderful memories here - I will never forget them. I wish everyone the best of luck in whatever you decide to do in life.

Anyway, thanks again for everything! I'll probably pop on and off of here at random intervals to check notifications or DMs. I'll also respond to any Discord messages if it's important!

Truly this hobby is not necessarily the most productive, im sure everyone will miss you though!

As of today, we have reached the midway point of the SF 2022 season! With this, we have a few announcements to make~

With the end of the sign-up period approaching later tonight, we've received a total of 204 sign-up forms, and currently have 184 people participating in Skin Fight this year!

With our independent attack submission forms for each team, together the forms have amassed a total of 790 attacks! That's 28 away from how many we received last year overall...wow!

Finally the big information you've all been waiting for, what are the current team standings?

Team Starfish is currently in the lead with 4658 points!
Team Seashell is close in second with 4079~

Scores will be kept on our group page from now on, and we'll try to update them each Monday until the event ends~

to everyone who is worried about their email getting leaked through the skin fight spreadsheet - the setting that shows emails is turned off! only the staff emails are shown, and all staff members are aware of that. nothing to be worried about! :")

just thought I'd mention - I've been active on here a bit lately, but I've turned off wall posts in my custom feed for the time being. they kind of clog up my feed with stuff I don't really care about, and since I'm mostly here for skins, it's easier without them. so yeah dw I'm still active here! :D
probably going to post a new skin tomorrow and start working on some pride skins for june (probably going to have to be unshaded since I can't skin that fast anymore)
