I have some ideas I'd like to see in Minecraft;
-Key item is added and can be crafted with either gold or iron nuggets, can be assigned to different chests so if you try to open the chest without the key in hand, it will be locked.
-Caves are upgraded visually (WE GOT IT YEEEEEEEES!) and more stones are added.
-Rubies, a new ore, is added and is just as rare as an emerald. Rubies can be used to trade with Wandering Traders for better items and are equivalent to 3 emeralds in a Villager trade
-Mobs get variants. For example: Sheep have a chance to spawn with ram horns, pigs can sometimes spawn muddy like in Minecraft Earth, and most mobs like tamed wolves have variants like cats. (Most of the variant animals could be taken from Minecraft Earth, excluding the Sheep because they come in colors.)
-Birds and different variants are added as a mob. They can also dance like Parrots!
-Variated textures for blocks like bookshelves, the stones, grass, etc. are added. Grass can even have flowers or pebbles on them!
-Spears are added, and can be crafted with 2 sticks and an iron or gold bar, stone, wood, or a diamond. It can be also upgraded to a Netherite Spear.
-Heart Containers (inspired by The Legend of Zelda) are added, and if you find one in a chest underground (Hopefully in Lush Caves, announced in the Cave Update during Minecraft Live 2020), it will increase your heart meter in your world permanently, until you die. You can only use it once, but can use it again if you die and respawn.
-Doors, Rails, and Ladders will render in 3D if the graphics are on Fancy to Fabulous!
-Railroads can connect 4 ways like a +.
-Gears are re added into the game and work like they should. Gears are basically Redstone but you can place them on walls, and can only be activated via Redstone.
-Baby bees look like actual bee larvae now, and baby chickens look like chicks as well.
-An Alpha built in texturepack is added, with every alpha texture in the game, including the new blocks stylized to look like the original look of Minecraft. It even includes the classic “Oof!” sound!
-The End gets caves where you can mine normal and Crying Obsidian as well as End Gold Ores. Watch out though, because shulkers that look like Endstone are lurking in the caves!
-The Minecraft Legacy Console edition Minigames return on Bedrock and Java! Battle, Tumble, and Glide will be added and optimized for each edition, and can act like official servers for Minecraft!
-Using the jeb_ nametag on Glow Squids make them rave squids B)
I may edit the post if there is more that I'd like to add!
