And even though I myself am a native English speaker, I can understand how English can be frustrating. It's not always a very consistent language, and even I've taken a bit to figure some stuff out.

Also, I can relate to being shy and nervous. I'm a bit more confident on the Internet than in real life but even here I can feel somewhat reluctant to reach out to people at times and I don't always know what to do in situations. I wish you the best of luck.

My English teacher usually tells us that everything was better in the past and modern teens are dumb antisocial addicts. However, today we had a topic about the 80s and she had her average off-topic talking about illegally reading"1984" when she was a bit older than us. Maybe she will appreciate the present times...

it was banned in the USSR for being anti-communist
and if she was reading it secretly, it must have been banned in other communist countries too (I don't know her entire backstory but I assume she didn't live in the Soviet Union)
