I reckon a better way to get a simple render of your skin would be to import the skin into the Blockbench skin editor, convert that to a minecraft title (with the title generator plugin), pose the skin however which way you like and then you can render it at high resolutions by using the custom resolution option. bam - done.
honestly, thinking about it this is my ONLY issue with pmcs skin editor !

i can't talk much about this situation but i can say that the PMC has helped me in the past when i had problems with someone off-site taking their harassment to PMC and the staff was nothing but kind and thoughtful when it came to my situation but that i also personally reached out to a mod to help and i recommend everyone does the same when stuff like this happens
mods don't see every single post we make so if you feel like someone is doing something that can harm you or someone else anywhere, take screenshots with stuff that identify the user in question and report it to a staff member.
We typically avoid discussing sensitive situations publicly, but the recent case between an off-site group and member has understandably caused significant confusion, frustration, and disappointment regarding the incident itself and how it was handled by all parties involved. Given the timing and complexity of the case, careful consideration was necessary to investigate and determine the appropriate response. While I genuinely empathize with everyone involved, I am also disappointed with how the situation was managed.
Brief of the incident Late last week, a private situation became public when a targeted member posted about a group of members investigating them for various serious allegations. The targeted member views themselves as the victim, while some members of the group also see themselves as victims. The group was on a third party platform and investigation conducted in private there. When information from this group leaked, the target decided to post about it publicly on our platform. Understandably, this has left many members feeling confused, frustrated, and upset having heard one side of the story. In addition, we were blamed for not doing more.
Could it be prevented? In general, our policy is to consider but not moderate based on unverifiable third-party activities. This can be frustrating for both the reporter and us. We always review and consider the evidence, but we must remember that things can be taken out of context, manipulated, or even fabricated. In these cases, we recommend reporting the activity to the third-party platform where it can be verified and necessary actions taken. If we can correlate or link the reported activity to what is happening on our platform, we will consider taking further action here. However, if there's nothing to support the activity on our platform, it is difficult to justify taking action. In this particular case, while we could verify that a group existed on a third-party platform, we were unable to see their discussions, and it didn't feel right to assume it was malicious rather than existing for valid reasons. Ultimately, what they discussed in private was beyond our control.
What can we do to help prevent similar situations from happening? This is a one of a kind incident for us in the past 14 years and we'll learn from it. This incident has been challenging for everyone involved, highlighting the need for more information on how to properly report, prevent and address conflicts within our community. While we stand by our policy of not moderating based on unverifiable third-party activities, we recognize that more can be done to support all parties involved and to maintain trust within the community.
Moving forward, we are committed to improving our guidelines, support systems, and moderation practices to ensure that incidents like this are handled more effectively. We are always open to suggestions on how to improve. We deeply regret the confusion, frustration, and disappointment that this situation has caused, and we appreciate the community's patience as we work to learn from this experience and make necessary changes. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment for everyone, and we are dedicated to doing better in the future.
We concluded our own investigation on information available and have taken actions that we deem to be appropriate at this time.
Im sick of all this bigotry. If you are intending to post some ridiculous homophobic/transphobic nonsense kindly just submit a ticket asking for your account to be deleted. Honestly if I have to choose between dealing with bots or banning people for bigotry I am going to ban the bigots before the bots (dont worry I have time for both)
For the non losers on this site, thanks for being nicer to your fellow person, feel free to DM me any concerns, ping me or report any bigotry and dont engage with them, leave the headache and the mental gymnastics to me.
Hey folks! It's been recently brought to my attention that there may be potential attacks during pride parades. As much as we encourage standing up for the LGBTQ+ community, please stay safe if you plan on going to one!
Again, we stress that this is not an attempt to stop you from standing up- we love and appreciate seeing support for this community! Just please be cautious as we don't want anyone getting physically hurt from this. Stay safe and have a lovely Pride month! ❤️🌈
Its national Autism Acceptance Month! Give some love to autistic creators, both on and off the site.
Listen to Autistic People, not big organizations who silence them. If you want to donate, don't donate to companies like autism speaks who don't have autistic people's best interests in mind.
Because I feel like it needs to be said — Everyone has pronouns. Pronouns are not determined by gender/appearance. It’s personal preference. People can have more than one set of pronouns (ex. using she/her, they/them pronouns at the same time like I do). It’s never okay to assume someone’s pronouns/purposefully use the wrong ones.
Pride month is coming up and some people tend to be quite homophobic, so...
If you see any homophobic (including: biphobia, transphobia, acephobia and any other form of discrimination...) content, report it or block the person and move on; don't engage! Engaging will only make things more difficult, and we should take the staff members recent (~last few weeks or so) wall posts/advice into consideration.
Involving yourself with negativity/discrimination isn't healthy, so please avoid it if you can. If not, please try to find a safe(r) space for yourself. If you're being harassed, blocking and reporting is the best course of action.
Spreading positivity, as well as making a safe place, is a good way of dealing with negativity. Please remember, aguing will not help here; this is a minecraft social site, not a place for heated and negative discussions.
And, on a happier note... Happy (almost) Pride Month! ♡♡ 🌈 🏳️🌈
Stay safe out there, friends. Respect & support those around you. ♡ !!
ive gotten a few dms abt fanskins, i dont rlly have a oc or persona for mc stuff so if you wanna make fanskins - chii from chobits works perfectly fine !
i'll send Cyprezz a DM as this has been going on for too long, i have blocked both their accounts but knowing them, they'll just make another account messaging me sometime soon.
If people are impersonating you then we will take action, if reports of that haven't been acted on then there likely wasn't enough information in them, or a mistake was made by a moderator. (that doesn't happen often but it is a possibility) Generally reports don't get replies, action is taken without notifying the person who reported. I can't check DMs between members, only the two admins can do that, so I would recommend making the reports again if they are DM related.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

PSA: When you report stolen content, please provide a link to the original so we can investigate. We're not psychic such that we're able to know where something is stolen from.
So many reports have been dismissed because of the lack of evidence, so make sure to provide the link to the original if you want the mods to take action. Thanks!
also, i am trying to see if there is a way to turn off dms on PMC so said person will (hopefully) get the hint and stop contacting me with their shallow 'apologies'.
A user on MCPEDL called "Simon_ITA" uploads and profits (via ads) from MC skin creators without their knowledge. I am currently collecting as many original author sources as I can. If you own or know the original of any of these skins, please let me know so we can get this removed! OG post that tipped me off. They've estimated that Simon has made WELL over $1,000 off of this post.
I am seeing a LOT from Planet Minecraft, so please double check for your content. If you are an original creator, please try to reach out and file a report on MCPEDL.
I found these three in <2 mins. There's over 1k of stolen skins and we need a good amount of original authors to prove this is stolen and to get it removed. Keep in mind this pack has been up since 2019, so we're looking for slightly older skins.
