  Is has become available for bedrock. You just have to manually update it. Go to the appstore for windows and find the place in the top right corner that allows you to see al your apps. If there is an update button next to minecraft then click on it and ur set. If it isn't giving you an option to download, restart your pc and try again. And by the way, mojang has officially said that they came on the same day.

  Tbh I thought it was coming out next month, but Minecraft PE popped down with a message saying "Caves and Cliffs update." But I'm not sure why they would say that on PE if it's not even out on it yet.

  No not yet, usually it just updates automatically. I just went on and checked but there was still nothing. It doesn't say I have any available updates either. I thought it was also coming out the same day as Java, but I'm not so sure now.
