So I’m thinking about updating (or just straight up uploading updated editions of) my music packs, so if anyone reads this, which one would you like to see done first? I’m too lazy to pick idk lol.

I finished and submitted my entry for Blacksmith's Jam. I'll be working on my college work for the meantime. I might be bale to work on Banliya after I get things done in the real life.

I joined LogMaiden's Blacksmith's Projects jam. I'll be working on my entries and won't be working on my resource pack for a while until I finish and submitted my entry.

WELL I HAVE FINISHED EVERY PRE-HARDMODE TERRARIA NPC
(Including the Tax Collector from Hardmode…)
Now I undergo the final stretch that is what remains of them.

In other news, the people that actually read this, I’ve been planning on making 1.20.4+ ports of my pre-existing music packs, as all of them except the recent Tears of the Kingdom pack do not work for 1.20.4+.

This being said, I may have to make new posts instead of updating them so the previous versions are still accessible. Y’know, so people can use them for older versions.

Back to skinning, I quickly dropped the Hollow Knight skin phase, but I’ll definitely go back shortly after the Terraria phase is over, and likely the Calamity phase that may follow.

I’ve also been working on a optifine resource pack that allows you to name swords into specific sword textures I have made, which I’ll include a list in a text file in the folder. So prepare for that. Yeah. That’s all from me, uh, you should comment more because I like reading stuff.

I’m gonna make a Tears of the Kingdom music pack soon. It’s gonna be fire.

I just complete the Winter Quest 2024 event created by CaraRose and it was amazing.
This quest is some kind of escape game, chrismas themed, where you will have to find, think, do some simple math and play with words/letters! (don't get me wrong, some puzzle are pretty hard!)

It takes about 1-3 hours. Take some notes to remember codes and words!
Definitly recommend it to you!

All my datapacks are now downloadable from PMC! No more external download required.

I'm now fixing all of them for 1.20.3+ as Mojang broke everything, again²²²²², changing touchy things!
Also, a new challenge datapack is under development =D

Hello Planet Minecraft!

The 1.20 update brought with it some really awesome new features and one in particular has a large impact on my resource packs. Armor trims represent a major change in the way that creators like me need to think about armor textures in Minecraft. I am committed to updating all of my packs to take advantage of this new feature, and I intend to create custom versions of the trims for my packs, but it's not going to be a quick process. To that end, I wanted to address this head on with my plan and roadmap for what updating to 1.20 might look like for the Grimdark Resource Pack collection.




Grimdark Tools, Dyes & Enchantments (JUNE) - complete!

Good news on this front! These packs won't require heavy lifting for 1.20 and my Grimdark Tools pack has already been updated! I'm going to try and get the Dyes and Enchantments updated later today as well.

Grimdark Samurai Pack (late JUNE) - complete!

My Samurai Pack is in pretty good shape since I recently gave it some love. I have already upscaled the default armor trims to match the resolution of my armor textures, so now it's just a matter of fine tuning the pixels so they line up well with my armor silhouettes. I expect to have this pack ready for 1.20 in the next week with a larger update to follow later this summer. Initially we'll use slightly tweaked versions of default trims, but eventually this pack will have samurai-themed trims.

Grimdark Viking Pack (early JULY) - complete!

My Viking Pack is in a very similar spot to the samurai pack with one major exception - I'm a little unsatisfied with the color palette I was using when I created it. In addition to all the trim work, I'd really like to fix the color palette issues. So, this one is going to take a little longer than samurai, but will follow a similar update pattern, basic trims in a couple weeks followed by more customized trims later this summer.

Grimdark Pirate Pack (late JULY) - in progress!

The Pirate Pack! I was just starting to work on a bigger update for this one when the 1.20 release date was announced. I am in the process of upgrading the tools to 24x to match my samurai and viking tool resolutions. Once completed I'll follow the same process for adding basic trims and then pirate-themed trims to the pack. I'm guessing this one isn't going to be ready for at least a month.

Grimdark Armor (JULY/AUGUST)

Here's where things get complicated. My Grimdark Armor textures are heavily themed and do not necessarily line up well, meaning armor trim patterns that work for one set, might not work for the next. I'm guessing that I can make use of variant trims, so samurai armor gets samurai trims etc, but that is adding another layer of complexity that will add more time to development. In addition, I was already planning to revisit the default Grimdark armor sets - the light, medium and heavy. This is a good time to do so, since I can tweak them to work better with armor trims and update the color palettes for consistency with newer textures, but that is going to require some time especially since there will need to be light, medium and heavy versions of each trim as well. I'm saving this for after the themed packs just because of that complexity - and the fact that I also want to include the themed armors as variants in this pack.

Grimdark Battlepack (AUGUST)

Finally, we've saved the best for last, my flagship Grimdark Battlepack. It only makes sense to tackle this last since it is meant to include all of my textures. Once all the armor and trims are ready to go, I'll put them all back together into the Battlepack.
