I decided to write a poem today. It's a little more darker than I wanted it to be but it's what I need to summarize for myself at least.

The uplifting greens of the ground, the yellow burning light in the sky, the silence being broken by random chatter.

All these things I see are making people happy.

But I end up asking why?

The sound of silence is killing me but when there is sound, I want it to stop.

And when there is silence, all I hear is the voices in my head.

Telling me to drop into a sink of dread.

The first time I dropped. I leaked as I shrieked.

Pain filled my body as I screamed but clearly, no-one heard me.

As time went on, everything around me became tranquil. Not even the loudest of sounds got my attention. And as I fell again...

I leaked but I didn’t scream. I merely waited for what felt like an eternity as all I heard was the drums growing louder.

I thought I was numb. Stripped of emotion.
But as soon as the moment passed, I shrieked without thinking and eventually I bled out.

Yet somehow, I was awake.
I didn’t want to be conscious.
I wanted to reach the other side.

I yelled as loud as I could as tears left me. Inside me, all I felt was pain and suffocation. Festering more and more.

Eventually though, the drums stopped. As a voice reached me and while no-one heard it.
I understood it. And after that moment,

Sound came back to me.

The voices stopped.

And as I breathed in the fresh morning air

I smelled the tasteless yet wonderful smell.
A smirk crept on my face yet I enjoyed the feeling.
Everything that hurt me went away.
I finally found peace.

And now, everything just feels a little better.

Sorry for not posting some laws, I've been getting fairly lazy.

I'm going to continue tomorrow but I guess right now, I just want to process to myself since right now, I kind of just miss my ex. It's weird, they clearly hate me now and tried to get reactions out of me but it's like I miss the relationship. I don't know how to explain it.
It's not important anymore to think about and it's definitely something I have to let go, but I just can't fully move on. I don't know.

Be careful of burnout, don't work on your project or feel like you have to work on your project every time you have free time.

You can try to avoid burnout by first defining a productive day, e.g., 3 hours of work on your biggest project and complete 3 smaller tasks that don't take super long (maybe less than 30 mins, it's up to you). By first figuring out what is a reasonable amount of work for yourself on any given day, you can dedicate that amount of time to it each day, whether it just be in thinking about it or writing something down. Then, once you complete the chosen allotted time dedicated for your project, you can do other things without feeling a baseless guilt. :)

That way, you get something done every day, no matter how large or little, but you don't feel like you have to use all your energy all the time on it. Otherwise burnout will find you all too soon (definitely not talking from experience *nervous laugh*)
