Not really. Maybe try imagining how the light would end up on the skin if it were irl and darken the places light wouldn't get to.
And you can always use tutorials.
If you have a lighter color and a darker color you can turn the opacity to 75%, 50%, and then 25% to get a mix of the colors and slowly lighten up the shading as you go. (sorry, not very explanatory)
