EMERALD ITEMS!




Emerald Items! is a vanilla-friendly Forge mod that adds the childhood dream to Minecraft - Emerald Armor and Tools set.










Because Emeralds are extremely rare to spawn naturally, these powerful gear pieces surpass Netherite in damage and attack speed, though for the cost of their durability, which is lower than Diamond - making them a high-risk, high-reward choice for adventurers.






Available for Forge, NeoForge and Fabric!





Crafting recipes follow the standard vanilla patterns for armor and tools.

As always, I recommend the JEI mod for the recipes.

The problem that everyone seems to forget about when they suggest or make Emerald Equipment is the simple fact that emeralds already have a purpose: Currency. Diamonds are meant to be traded and mined for equipment, but emeralds are specifically reserved for aesthetic and monetary purposes.
Don't get me wrong, you did a good job on this mod. If you think that emerald equipment is the way to go then do it.
I'm just saying that from an objective standpoint, I personally don't think that Emerald Equipment is a good idea.

You totally got a point there and you're right but the purpose I made this mod was mainly due to this childhood "dream" or rather disappointment of (not)being able to craft armor or tools out of emeralds. So the reason is, let's say, nostalgic :D
